The stock DRZ/KLX (last graph) is the same. Max TQ @ 6k, ya just got more of it.

I see the dyno graphs but I truly find it hard to believe they can get that much power out of that engine. Wow! I wonder about longevity?

Depends on how they make it.

Besides, Burned has the resources at his disposal - so why not?

Burned's bike has been like that for a few years now and he races/rides it pretty hard w/ no ill effetcs. His next goal is to make it clear the 60 HP benchmark.

So far his mods have been sensible and solid. He dynos everything to make sure it's running right!

As we all know, it ain't the bike, its the rider.

However, I think Dan should do a "Burned" on his engine this winter before we we do the Red Cone, Black Bear, Dolores River Canyon SGDSM loop.
For those of you who have never seen or heard of the Dolores River Canyon road, don't feel alone since it is fairly unknown and unused. It is a tough rocky SOB though. Besides that, I'll bet it has a long season since it is a low altitude road. Maybe an early spring ride before the big run-off kicks in.

As for bikes: I am happy with my $2500 KTM LC4. Besides my money is going into building for the next few years.

- factory service manual

That's a nice bike - it has all the toys. I talked to the guy via email but he wouldn't come down in price enough for me - I was looking for something cheaper. It was originally listed at $3300.
