Yea I saw it the other day. The fact he calls it a "dirt bike" and it doesn't look like it has signals and such makes me think it's not the "S" version. Maybe I will give him a call to see. WAY too many bikes showing up without titles on craigslist. Plus the out of state phone number makes me think too. Of course he may be in the military working on base. Looks like their version of the "E" model.

XR500 Dirtbike-Honda - $1200 (Denver-Metro)

http://denver.craigslist.org/mcy/3922599279.html

1979 XR 500R A. Model for sale $1,200 obo. Awesome vintage thumper.

I bought this bike as my winter project and finished it last month. I have done 2 test rides to break in the new parts and it's ready for a new owner. I intended on doing a street legal dual sport, this classic bike hauls ass and will eat up the trails. I have invested over $1,950 in the build (have all receipts to prove) and am looking for a fair sale price, o.b.o. I am getting rid of it because I want an xr650 desert racer. I would rate this bike at a strong 90% condition with little effort to make it a perfect 100%.
Any questions please feel free to email me.

New items:
-complete top end rebuilt including valves.
- dual sport tires (front & rear) DOT approved.
- brakes
-wiring
-lights
-front fender
-tubes
-Honda factory seat cover
-spark plug
-grips
-bark busters
-chain slider

* Rebuilt/ refurbished items*
-left and right pegs including rear brake lever
-late model front head light off an 84 model XR
-Complete carb rebuild

1999 Honda Nighthawk CB250

I'm selling my ex wife's 1999 Honda Nighthawk CB250. It has 1453 miles on it and in immaculate condition. When we bought it about 5 years ago, I cleaned the carb and installed a fuel filter. It also got a new battery two years ago. It's practically brand new and looks it.

The full photo set is HERE. She wants $2100. PM me to arrange for a showing. Test rides with cash in hand only.

This is a great starter or around town bike. Gets 70mpg and runs like a top. Never dropped and garaged its whole life.

1977 Honda Gold Wing GL1000 - $1900 (Castle Rock)

http://denver.craigslist.org/mcy/3935986809.html

1977 GL1000 Red classic ready to ride.
This is a nice old Honda. Ridden regularly. Starts with one push of the button.
Runs well. Turns heads where ever we go.
42xxx miles.
These bikes were acid tested to go 300,000 miles plus at the factory in Japan by Honda.
Brand new tires as of Memorial day (maybe 250 miles on em), and fresh oil.
I also have a windshield, and sissy bar which is included but not shown (easily installed if you like).

This is a 37 year old bike, and great for it's age. VERY nice, and reliable.
Vintage Japanese power, and well cared for!

1977 YAMAHA IT400 Street Legal Two Stroke - $1850 (Conifer)

http://denver.craigslist.org/mcy/3916850647.html

Very clean (semi-restored), leak-free, well maintained, street legal Yamaha IT400 with about 4000 miles on it
(speedo replaced in 2011, now reads about 1800 miles) with current Colorado plates, title, and registration.

The IT400 was a serious monoshock competition enduro bike in 1977 (unlike a DT400).
It is a big bore two stroke similar to the YZ250 of that year, uses premix.
Starts easy, lights, speedometer and trip meter work.

New fork seals. Stock CDI ignition. Converted to regulated 12 volt system to avoid blown bulbs, and modified so it has a rear brake switch and lite.
It runs strong and shifts well through all 5 gears, clutch work perfect.

New sprockets and chain, geared for highway speeds to let you drive highways to the trail site in top gear.
Nearly all hardware was stripped and replated last year. Seat recovered with factory repro cover.

All plastic is brand new or in near-new shape, tank has been upgraded to IT425 version.
None of the plastic has been painted and the gas tank decals are aftermarket by Wicked Tough, so they are totally gas proof.

Equiped with DID 18 & 21 inch wheels, relaced with new spokes. Bike includes aftermarket rear fender tool bag and tool kit.
Tires are Dunlops in front and back, not new but have at least one season left before they will need to be replaced.
Exhaust pipe has small dings, but works well, and includes the stock spark arrestor/baffle needed for riding in USFS areas.

Spares include: fender tool bag and tool kit, service manual, original front number plate.
Have the original IT400 tank (see fotos - its cracked and not useable without repair.)

Very light and easy to ride, low seat height, but NOT a first bike.
