hmm, that makes me wonder what i could do with the kx144 motor sitting in my garage.
not a bad price at all either for a YSR compared to some of them i've seen.

At $800, this seems to me like a good deal *if* the carb work is all it needs and the tank coating was done correctly.

1992 GS500 runs but needs some carberator work the float is stuck on the right carb. This is a very easy bike to ride will make a good commuter bike 55mpg new tires fuel tank epoxy coated to prevent rust new progressive front fork springs 7,549 miles. I am selling so I can fix my Jeep other than that I would keep it. I have a retro Joe rocket leather jacket and helmet that comes with it if you want them.

^^ great bikes, i had one just like it. Be advised the carbs are a major PITA to work on, they are difficult to access.

I sent the guy with the custom chopper KTM an email saying are you serious, poor bike. He responded with Thanks. It's so hard to find REAL custom bike enthusiasts in this town! Now that there is just funny.

That CB77 isn't so far gone that it can't easily be brought back to oem.

But for $2500 it should all be there.

Yeah, having the rest of the exhaust might be nice for example.

Good Gravy I Thought I Had Seen it All....A V-strom with a Vetter!

2002 Suzuki DL1000 VStrom set up for Cruising - $3500 (Truth or Consequences)

© craigslist - Map data © OpenStreetMap

FOR SALE OR TRADE

2002 Suzuki DL1000 VStrom set up for Cruising ... $3500.00

I bought this bike a few years ago with the intention of long distance cruising as they have such a good reputation. On the rider blogs, one fellow with the same year and model has over 200k miles on his bike. Check out: www.stromtrooper.com for more on this bike. Vstrom has 92 hp, gets 42 mpg at 80mph, weighs 550 pounds, has 25k miles on the odo. Not for short people as a 32 inch inseam is suggested. The bike was stock with some road rash and minus the front plastic when I bought it as I wanted to put a Vetter Fairing on it. Vetter is the best for cruising as one can stay dry in the rain and even smoke a cigarette behind that windshield. A new clutch pack had been installed and the TBI synched by the dealer. Over the last year, I have put on a new X-ring gold chain and both sprockets, Iridium spark plugs, Amsoil in the crankcase, replaced brake fluids front and rear, clutch fluid and new seal, 138DB air horn, fairing with two 55w halogens, twin lockable steel ammo cases, center stand with bash cage and hiway pegs, Givi crash bars, plastic top box, Kuriakin throttle lock, new tires front and rear and 12 volt plugs front and rear. Have not ridden much in the last few months as I am scheduling a right shoulder joint replacement since my right arm goes numb after a while, so time to sell or trade the bike.

Asking $3500.00 which includes XXL helmet, Fieldsheer armored riding suit XXL with zipout winter liner, gloves and a full bike cover. For an extra $150, you can have the custom welded bike rack for this bike which fits into a standard receiver, however, your vehicle must be able to handle 600 pounds on the back. We used it on the RV, but should be fine for a full size pickup or SUV.
Possible trade for ATV with trailer for a little slow fun. Phone: five7five, seven4zero, two3two8. Email is fine but slower, please no texts or instagrams as I have an old flip fone and macbook.

Honda 90 trail bike - $400 (centennial )

http://denver.craigslist.org/mcy/4155895665.html

I'm looking for around 400.
I have the bike mostly put together, new battery, oil..gas, throttle adjustment
and is in need of some rear brake adjustment, and it should be good and running.
I just work alot and its hard for me to find time for the bike.
I have sign over papers I just haven't ran to the dmv to get the full title, but it wont be a big problem to get.

A.C.E.S. usually has some good craigslist ads too - never been up there to check them out, but would like to.

Aces... typical cruising with a trailer and a pocket of cash through neighborhoods type of reseller. I think the owner is a former road racer.

They were offended when I said a buddy was coming down to help me look over a bike. On that bike, we removed the air filter and found lots of dirt leading right down the intake route... not good, I walked.
