Norton Commando W/Combat Heads, Parts - $5200 (Albuquerque, NM)

http://denver.craigslist.org/mcy/4217108297.html

A '71 Roadster. In very good condition. Runs strong and powerful as a Norton should.
Mainly stock machine with some very nice parts.Original fiberglass tank, Brake caliper,
Smith Gauges, Tail Lamp, Horn, are somewhat rare. The Gearbox has had the improved kicker seal modification.
Will include shop manual, Norton Parts List, Special Tools, Some new and all used parts that were replaced over the years.
The odometer reads 14.6K, I believe it to be correct. I purchased the Norton 10 years ago after it sat for 20 years.
Total rebuild including main bearing replacement. I've put about 6K miles in 10 years so it has a lot of life left.
Paul
A compression test was performed 11/25/13
Right= 155psi
Left= 150psi

Can't disagree but having garage space means it must be filled. BTW I have a Piaggio MP3 500 for sale, low miles.

One of those passed us in Tacoma yesterday and I was explaining to my wife what it was and how cool they are. It was an 850 but same color and all, so I guess it was about a 1973, right? Here is a great article on a Norton lover's Commando that he put 200,000 miles on:
