"Top speed is around 145."

That is a good little motor, but the only time it is going to go145 is about 30 sec after you drop it out of a plane at 30,000 ft. Even then it would be hit or miss with terminal velocity!

that's been out there for a while - but on hiatus from craigslist for a bit.

We swapped a number of emails, IIRC we talked on the phone once too - but it was during a nasty weather deal and I never got around to going to see it in person...

I saw that... an R90S is desirable - but he doesn't say if he HAS the sport fairing to return it to stock....just that it would be easy to do.

For that premium price, I'd prefer it was put completely back to stock if I was buying.

That has to be the first R90S-RT I have ever seen. good deal for about 1/2 the asking price. If it were completely stock it would bring from 7 to 9K possibly. Looks like it has been repainted.

Off to the garage to turn wrenches. and hopefully get more good news. So far the old Brit and I are getting along just fine.

One thing - When u buy a luftmeister fairinged one - many times the wiring has been compromised and the frame in front where the brackets have held it are boogered up.

That is awful

Also the r90s was only produced in model years 74-76, and not in 77 (r100s). There is a low miles (under 9k) original r90s on eBay right now bidding is approaching 20k, reserve not yet met

I think for your RT I would start at the high end.

BTW: The Norton is treating me well. The PO did a lot of good things and almost finished up the restoration. Of course it needs all the things done to make it mine. And to clean up several of his FUBAR's.

I had a Pacifico fairing that the mounts were held to the frame downtubes by hose clamps....boogered up the paint pretty good.

Beautiful bike, love it, runs perfect, very reliable, Zero problems, No leaks.
Comes with the factory titanium race exhaust. Sounds beautiful
Just coming up to 17,000 miles.
Anyone that knows about Aprilia's Rotax motors knows that's nothing.
Second owner, first owner had it for 16,000 miles. He was in his mid 50's and rode it as a cruiser. never went above 6000 RPM.
I am a pretty easy rider myself, but it is fun to give it some gas on onramps in first and second and get the front wheel up.
With that said, the bike is very powerful, very impressive V-twin.
Bike has a couple small scuffs here and there, but overall in pretty good shape for a 2000!
Comes with rear passenger seat, and solo race seat
HID conversion kit, 6000K, holy crap its bright
New front tire, rear has two seasons left
