DRZ400E bad head gasket $1000 Ft Collins

http://fortcollins.craigslist.org/mcy/4348001249.html

I have a 2000 DRZ400E with a bad head gasket. You can have the bike as is and fix it ($300.00 for new jug and gasket set) or for a parts bike. New silicone coolant hoses, new water pump, good tires, etc..

Looks like a nice one and has some good mods. Fair price also. Danged am I going to have to rent you my trailer again?

OH, and BTW: you can order the bag keys from BMW once you have the registration in your name. DAMHIK:

I think it's warm enough to ride back from Georgia...but I'm still looking until I'm completely funded - shopping starts in earnest in 3 weeks
I did send an email to start a dialogue though, on the off chance it doesn't sell right away he'll know there's serious interest from afar.

No CL, but in the FM, but I just love this bike.

FS: 2000 Honda Africa Twin RD07

Fellow advriders thought I would give you guys first crack at my 2000 RD 07. If you opened the post you know the score.

Clean PA title, no BS, no salvage, no R brand; clean and tight in MY name.

The bike:

44,000 mi
Ohlins rear shock
Renazco seat
Touratech panniers
Touratech windscreen extension
LeoVince can - jetted to match
Africa Queens reserve petcock installed with light in factory location (no holes drilled, used the SS light)
Africa Queens Mikuni vacuum fuel pump - NIP
KTM 950 fuel pump
XR 650 L pegs
TKC 80s - 0 miles - not installed when the photos were taken
Givi topcase - 35L
Givi engine guards - powdercoated to match
Heated grips
Battery tender lead
Wear items are all within 3K miles
Fluids all new

I'm ready to move on and the bike needs to be used, not parked. It's ready for any adventure you can throw at it. 100% great bike.

Bike is located in Williamsport, PA. Looking to fetch $9,500.

Andy

that seems like a lot of money for a used Honda.

it is.

Rare in the U.S. or not, that's way too much - that's why it's been for sale since last November.

Yeah; way too much. You can usually buy used Ducati/Cagiva Elefant 900s for about $4000 in nice shape, and they are lighter and more off-road capable. I know one can argue which is the better bike, but you could buy two of them and a lot if fuel for what this guy wants for the one Honda.

Well I tell you, the last three bikes have me drooling. The Bee and the WR500 are among the top five bikes on my wannabuy list and the Africa Twin is so purty, even though it is overpriced and I would not buy one anyway.
