Rarest and most desirable of the Moto Guzzi LeMans IV SE series, one of only 92 bikes imported into the US in 1987. Aside from the unique red and white paint scheme and matte black engine, the Special Edition 1000 cc has a close ratio 5-speed gearbox, Biturbo dampers in the forks, Koni shocks and other goodies.
In the past 500 miles:
Complete service which included NGK plugs, oil/filter [synthetic], brakes flushed [DOT 5.1], new fuel lines, valves adjusted, 40 mm Dellortos cleaned/gaskets/synchronized.
Odyssey battery.
Bridgestone Battleax tires front and rear (less than 100 mi).
Hundreds (nearly $2K) in spares: New Sargent saddle (+original in pics), BUB Seven series complete stainless exhaust pictured (+immaculate black porcelanized original), Integrated European front turn signals (+originals), K & N pod air filters (+original box system), set of Marzzocci rear shocks (now installed plus factory Konis), original round folding key (+spare), original gold Owners Manual, several Service manuals, magazine articles, service records, and other literature.
This 15,230 mile jewel has always been stored (covered, with a battery tender and a tank full of aviation fuel) when not ridden in a heated garage. There's not a mark on it (the lower fairing has been stored to keep it free of road rash) and needs nothing but an enthusiastic new owner, younger than me, who likes to go fast. Asking $6,000 or nearest reasonable offer--REASONABLE, so don't waste my time. And no, I don't want you to sell it for me.

Pc800 - $1200

Seems to be a fair price (and no, it's not mine).

1995 Honda Pacific Coast with 25,000 miles, well maintained over the years, some small dings and scratches with a tear in the seat but no major concerns. The bike runs great and the tires are also in good shape. Only selling because moving to Mexico. It is a great bike. 800 cc

Guys,
this Guzzi is mine. Thank you for reposting my ad here, I tried earlier but couldn't get pics up. At any rate, I just turned 70 and my long riding days are nearly over. It's a beautiful example that begs to be ridden rather than just looked at and since I've only put 300 miles on it in two years, there's little point in kidding myself any longer. Inmates are welcome to come by and figure that you can take it home for a few hundred dollars less than advertised. My name is Ric, my number is 303/651-2599 and my email is landeira@colorado.edu.

That's a steal if it's in as good of shape as he says. Worth 2x that price.

Ric,

If I had not just bought a GSPD, I would be over there circling your bike, looking at adding another Guzzi to my garage - one of my favorite marques by far.
Taking into account what nice Eldo's and Nortons go for, that looks to be a pretty fair price.

Best of luck finding it a good home, I wish I had the money....and sorry for the comment on the Bitubo fork dampers

1968 Triumph 650 Tiger - $6495

http://denver.craigslist.org/mcy/4387705352.html

Newly complete restoration of a 1968 Triumph 650 Tiger - TR6R.
Few things to complete, (two new cables to install) All new paint to match original colors and striping,
all chrome refinished or polished. Restored to original, Matching frame and engine numbers, and all stock.
Beautiful bike ready to run, excellent investment for the Vintage Enthusiast in anyone.
I have owned this bike for 20+ years...hard to let it go but have too many bikes to ride them all.
This is a fast bike.. not for the faint of heart.

you'd have to be pretty faint of heart to think a single carb Tiger was scary fast

Fast bike !!!!!!

FAST is relative, isn't it? For me, a Brutale would seem fast, or a ZX14, or a ............. well you get the picture.

I'm thinking the "Fast Bike ...... Not For The Faint Of Heart" comment is probably best explained by going back to the first photo, and looking at the bike in the background situated over the Triumph tail light.

On the other hand, my experience with owning a 69 Tiger 650 was it FELT scary fast at the ton. Whereas my 1200GS seems mild by comparison. I think he meant " when going fast, it is SCARY...
