thanks for posting the link. this ride is a lot of fun. the free hot shower after the ride is well worth it. this ride is very well organized and put together. there are plenty of gas stops along the way both days and places to stop and have lunch or re load your camelbak. this ride is like 4 or 5 rides in one. bike maint is key. i plan on putting slime in my tubes before the ride this year as a just incase.

A word to the wise: you need to be pre registered in order to gain entrance to the track before the CF people get there. when you arrive at the track please be courteous and no horse play on your bike in the camp/parking area's. we are very fortunate to be able to camp at the track and have hot showers and flush toilets.

Trail Boss Dave Mott has a corker for you this year. If the rain holds off it'll be dry and perfect. Who's in?

Changes for 2013

Perhaps the biggest change is that you will NOT be entering through the main gate this year! Turn off Rte. 106 like 'normal' but then go imediately south (outside the fence), registration will be in what was the old medical building at the south end of that parking lot. From there we will turn east (left for the directionally challenged) and take a different entry road directly to 'our' lots. For those riding the Trail Ride, the Southern Loop is scheduled for Saturday this year with the Northern Loop on Sunday.
I will see you bright and early Sunday morning (the old, fat guy handing out donuts and bagels).

I should probably check this year's flyer for changes but each year (for some time, don't know how long) Suzuki has donated a bike to be raffled off. I believe that the number of chances to win are based on how much $$$ you raise in donations (don't forget to put your tickets in 'the box' at registration!) and a winner is pulled at the rider's meeting on Sunday morning. Last year the winner donated the bike back and it was then raffled off to raise even more $$$ to find a cure for CF.

Thanks Jeff! We're posting Big Bike Ride pic's, vid's and info in this thread. Check it out for pic's, vid's and other info regarding the BBR.

The BBR is on SATURDAY again this year. We've put together 180 +/- miles of scenic and gravel roads in the NH Blue Hills and the NH Lakes Region for those that enjoy riding "off the beaten path", with several challenging "Hero" sections for Adventure Bike Riders. The BBR route is a combination of some of Jeff's best roads from his many years of Trail Bossing this event (thanks Jeff!), some of the roads and hero sections that I like , and a bunch of nice new gravel roads that we've added. Lunch BBQ will be with the Southern Loop Trail Riders. So, if you're not riding the Trail Ride, join us for the Big Bike Ride!
