Yes, the Southern Loop will be run on Saturday and the Northern Loop on Sunday this year.

The problem I see with your plan is that:

Entrance into the track is limited to those who are registered for the event.
So.... you can get in anytime if you have pre-registered and gotten on that list (gate is run by NHMS Security)....
and you can get in anytime once you have been through registration...
but registration is open from
mid-afternoon Friday to 8:00PM on Friday
and from 7:00AM to 9:15AM on Saturday morning
and from 7:00AM to 9:00AM on Sunday.

However, you could call the CFF Office @ 1-800-757-0203 and see if they have any other options (better do it quickly as they will be packing everything up and moving it North on Thursday Morning). Hope you make it up there.

There is a "Guest Fee", unfortunately it is $20 for anyone not registered or possessing a banquet ticket, fortunately the Speedway has in the past donated that $$ to the Northern New England Cystic Fibrosis Foundation.

Bummer on the weather. My friends bailed on me for the Friday night campout. Admittedly, the forecast does sound pretty crappy.

See you guys Sat morning!
