Shoot me an email with your plans and I will see if I can join you guys for some of the trip. I might be able to show you a few alternate routes as well if you up for a little tougher terrain...

Enjoy! It's a great state map. Tons of road options.

BEWARE…..there are some problems with with AZBDR. At N 34 30.630 W 111 11.765 the road is closed and dug out. You need to stay on the other forest road to get around it. See picture below…

Also there is a very loooong hard rock section in after Long Lake that is not mentioned and not very fun.

And a BIG one missed and not mentioned...on Section 3 there is a bail out for a "Tough Rocky Section" but 11 miles before the bailout it gets VERY difficult. A few friends and I along with a few other people had to backtrack 21 miles due to how difficult it was….if your a pro…give it a go! ;)

The Indians charged us $78 for 2 people to ride across their land to camp 1 night and hike 2 days, which is what they said we would be doing by riding our bikes out there overnight….big rip off.

Were you guys on motorcycles? Maybe its the photo but I'm seeing at least two easy ways through that dig out.

Are you saying when you come up from the south on 139A you could not cross over the creek on 95 and took 95b>139g instead and then reconnect with 95 and continue north? (Panel 8 on the map)

That is a deep cut for a main road??? I'm wondering if the FS plans on adding a drain pipe in their & back fill to cross the creek?

That is Coconino NF and they should have info on what is going on.
