Hey there amigo,
Hope your doing well, say hello to Brady for me.

I was out riding sidewinder the just last and came upon a mtn biker that nailed his toe on a rock and was bleeding profusely, it brought back some memories.

I did not make it out this past weekend. After loading my trailer I looked down and happened to notice the wheel moving sideways. After a quick study, I found the bearings had gone bad and towing it across the continental divide would have been a bad idea. So, im rescheduled for this weekend. Friday to Sunday.
I plan to try to ride everything in Moab.
Its all so good. Id be happy to have someone to ride with.

Ten mile canyon is a fun trail, wouldn't mind riding it again. Lockhart basin looks similar to white rim which I did a couple weeks ago in the jeep, mostly two track? Will see if I can get away for the weekend, sounds fun.

I love that trail. What is the name of the trail that goes through the huge rock formation a bit south of white wash? Here is a photo?

"a ride"

Fair warning to anyone considering this.. "a ride" in the desert with Silverboy typically involves:
1) jb weld
2) exploration of every real and perceived alternate route
3) 5th gear pinned.. in the wrong direction
4) gps is forbidden.. no matter how tired / lost / injured / sore / cold / out of gas you are
5) returning at midnight (if lucky) with 200+ new miles on your odo

Does the guy in the above photo look like he's having fun to you?

Just sayin'

I'm wary of any ride with Mr. Silverboy. I've seen his garage of destruction.

but I'll be in the area Thursday - Monday or so, with another rider, not sure of the difficulty of trails we are up for, but I think Dead Cow could make the list... Definitely doing some of the "classics" on Moab 101.

Playing it by ear.

I'll drop you an email with my mobile number Silverboy...
