Riding from Lake Elsinore, Ca. to Big Bear tomorrow?

Thinking of heading out of Lake Elsinore up to Big Bear tomorrow.

I have ridden up the asphalt about 1k times, however would prefer to take a dual sport route if possible? Any advice from everyone out there as to the best route from the Lake Elsinore area to be on dirt all the way up the mtn?

Im running a F800GS, planning on leaving around 9am so anyone interested in riding along feel free to get in touch.

Just found this RR Motoxjet, sorry I didn't see it sooner because we're
planning about the same thing from San Diego. Let me know how it went
and what route you used.

I don't claim to be an expert on this area but I did ride up there with some DS guys and I know we were on the Lower Control Road at some point. Many catch it in Angeleus Oaks. That will at least give you some idea of where to look on your maps.

Cheers
