June 1 National Trails Day!

The Coconino Trail Day is June 1, National Trails Day. Come out and do your part. We'll be working on the NEW Kelly Canyon Riding area. Work starts at 8:30 and ends with lunch provided by the Coconino Trail Riders. Tools and guidance provided by the National Forest crew. Free t-shirts too!

Location is off Lake Mary road about half way between Flagstaff and Lower Lake Mary. Take F.S.Road 867 west off Lake Mary Rd and go about a mile and you'll find a crowd at the fork of 867 and 867 D. Last weekend we made 1.2 miles of single track trail and had about 30 people including a contingent from the AZ Trail Riders. It's hard work, but it's fun and rewarding with a great group of people. There is a group camping in the area Friday and Saturday I believe. I don't have details on that but can get some if anyone is interested.

AZ State Parks will be there in support of CTR and National Trail Day.

I'm bringing a bunch of trail tools to help out and the OHV Ambassador Trailer for public info.

Awesome! I will be up there to help out along with some ATR friends. Thanks for the help in getting this ball rolling.
