My 2012 Silver Wing 600 with fuel injection is well broken in at 8300 miles. I am currently averaging 55 MPG (US). Highest tank ever was 62 MPG and lowest was 46.9.

This is calculated in same manner each tank so accuracy is reasonable.

It means you have a disc rear brake instead of non evo drum for starters.

Thanks much, Brian. No one around here knew what EVO meant.

Now we know. We guessed evolution of course, but it seemed a vague
term when applied to a motor scooter.

That is pretty good for a Silver Wing. The best I can pull is 47 and that is trying super hard and asking for a BMW enema at every traffic light. In a more normal manner its 42 MPG and I have gone as low as 38 MPG.

Mine is an 04 and I heard the earlier years were known to be gas guzzlers. Starting in 08 I think Honda added an O2 sensor and this helps with fuel management and the later ones can get mid 50's or higher like you get. However every once in a while an early owner will report high MPG in the 50's and a newer owner will report low 40's. Just so many variables.

Yeah, I was a bit surprised at Starbuck21's mileage as well, good for him. Don't think I've heard of an SW doing 60s before. My '12 SW is less broken in than his (low 2000+ miles). I'm getting high 40s/very low 50s consistently on my regular backroads/low rolling hills terrain with most speeds below 55MPH.

My regular riding area has lots of sharp curves which are fun to play with so there is a lot of max powering out of the apexes. That obviously cuts down my MPG results.
