A Hose Missing?

I just noticed a 90 degree hose connection at the top inside of my right gas tank on my 2007 990ADV! It seems a hose was hooked to it at some point. What is this and where should the hose be? Thanks!

Sounds like just a standard tank vent. I have had them like this on 950's, but I wouldn't think the newer 990's would vent to atmosphere but rather to a charcoal canister...

Just went searching, yep I'm bored.

This is indeed a tank vent and it does go to the charcoal canister. Where the canister is located, and where your hose went, I don't know.
