HDB Handguard Clearance with Risers

So I have some pretty big Rox Risers (not sure how big, they came with the bike). I'd love to put the HDBs with mirrors on, but my stock guards are pretty close to the windshield as it is. I know I've seen plenty of pictures of 990s with both, but I'm just curious how tight the fit is. I've already rolled the bars back pretty far and I'm just about out of throttle cable, so I don't know how much farther back they'll go.

Speaking of which, anyone have some used ones they want to sell me?

you can turn your throttle housing 180 degrees so the cables exit the bottom. That will give you the slack you need

Great tip! I'll have to take a look at that, I'd definitely like to be able to roll them back a bit father.

Rubber sheath is a tight fit against starter, kill control box when turned upside down.Slide it over cables before tightening the 2 8mm head nuts holding the 2 halves together. Also plug the drain hole so it doesn't fill up in the rain.Still might need to reroute throttle cables, had to take mine out of the cable guide to the left of the steering head (DIFFICULT!!) and then there was enough slack .You don't want all that power coming on when turning right in tight quarters!
