Hey boys and girls...
Just a heads up that my trips may be a bit farther between the next few weeks. Have new entertainment to keep my busy.
A new Red Border Collie Puppy, "Ruby"... it has been 14 years since we were Puppie-fied. But here we go again.

Not a bad time to slow down a bit anyway, in the heat of summer. Still really enjoying this thread.

This thread is going to the dogs!
This is my wife's Christmas present... Sadie. Poor little spoiled brat is not too happy that she was brought along on the camping trip and had to watch the boys ride from the back of the truck.

Don't let her cuteness fool you though... she likes to play rough.

This little guy was born to my Flemish Giant and my Angora about 5 months ago. Name is Harvey.

Not the report I was wanting to make...
Not the report of another wonderful ride in the AZ desert...
Some of you know of my miss-hap way-way back in June...

Well the story goes like this
This little piece of equipment was involved as well as my gas powered Pole saw, my wife and I. Just my standard Palm tree trimming setup.

Well you can guess what happened. Yep... I parted ways with the little cage thing'y before coming to the ground.
I' guessing the platform was at 6-8' at the time of my ejection/stumbilation. or just plain FALL. My fall was broken by the 8' shaft of the pole saw. Likely saved me from a more serious injury.
One of my bicep tendon is severed and the other torn enough it ache's all the time. The rotator tendon is torn enough that it has a 10mm separation. The MRI shows the rotator tendon was injured many years ago and over 1/2 of it is scar tissue that can not be repaired. So hoping the other 1/2 that has been keeping me going can be repaired sufficiently to make it worthy of fixing.
In September I was scheduled to have surgery only to fine out two days before that I have a bundle branch block in my heart. So... surgery was off!
Getting the heart issue in order so by the end of October I should be able to get back on the schedule for the Shoulder surgery.

However somewhere in all the waiting this little piece of history followed me home.

I'm still optimistic about riding. However Surgeon really frowned when I told him of my 100+ mile dirt loops that I frequently took alone.
So I thought this old trials bike would keep me closer to home for a while. Once I get the OK to get astride another Honda

Hang in there Mark...itll al be behind you before you know it. I require all of my major appendages to count my accidents and injuries...they (almost) all seem like forever ago.....(knock on wood). Did I mention I fell off the CR and bumped my head the other day? and did I mention I fell off the CR and Smacked my head really hard the other day. I hope there wont be permanent affects that are permanent.

Hey mefadv,

Sorry to hear about your mishap, I had one(mishap) 3 years ago yesterday. It was bad enough that I remember the date I hope you heal up quick.

I just read through your entire thread, you have a pretty nice backyard I hope to be moved to the area by spring. New England weather sucks!!

Good luck to you, brother. Get healthy and get riding again.

Just went through your neighborhood via cage on way from Utah to Tucson for a friend's wedding. Big country!

Nice looking Honda. Post up more pics when you can.
