Need help with sourcing 21 inch "strong" front wheel for 07 640 Adventure

Looking for a source to purchase a "strong" front rim for my 07 KTM 640 LC4 Adventure. I have enough 'smiles' in my front rim that it feels like driving on a cobblestone road. Any help would be really appreciated. It is a 2.15X21 rim using the original front hub and spokes. Cheers, F

Might try posting in Thumpers section.

But I'd go with an Excel rim. Buchanan's will drill it to fit your OEM hub, and sell you the spokes to match.

The DID Dirt Star rim is the best there is. Better than the best Excel, IMO. But either are better than stock KTM rim.

You may have to build the rim/spokes using your hub ... or pay a fortune for a blingy new (stronger) hub.

The DID Dirt Star rim from the 950 Super Enduro is very strong, and it will allow you to re-use the stock spokes and nipples. Just a bit more expensive buying through KTM, although you can find big discounts on OEM parts online.

Otherwise check with RAD Mfg or Buchanan if they have a generic DID Dirt Star rim that will fit the 640/950/990 Adv and SE application.
