I think you are probably best off slogging through the regional forum and trying to sort that out yourself. Maybe some one with local knowledge will respond.

Go to your local thread. Introduce yourself, go on a few local DS group rides. They will show you miles and miles of your local DS roads you never knew existed.

This is about as local a thread as it gets. The Tales from East TN thread moves pretty slowly and most folks posting seem to be focused more on the North East of the state. Most of the ride reports and pics I've seen from down in the corner have come from GA and NC (and one very orange guy from AL) riders who I'm betting don't normally read the ETN thread.

The maps error linked are a great start. Taking those route names and searching this site you should come across some really great old ride reports. I'm sorry I can't be of much more help. This isn't an area of the state I've spent much time riding. Maybe some of the Chattanooga or N. GA folks will chime in soon and help you out more. Don't forget, there's a world championship motorcycle even in that neck of the woods right now. I'll wager a guess that many riders are tied up watching/working this weekend.
