Hi Guys, so for riding 2 up there is no extra charge and sounds like a great lifelong memory for any 12 year old.
For GPS rental you just go to the Members Store on my website, I only have about 8 of these Garmin 60csx units for rent so supply is limited they come with mounting hardware for any bike and only take a few minutes to install the tracks for the ride are loaded and your ready to go, here's a link to the Members Store, you also sign up (pay) for the rides here.

Yes it's a lot of tracks and I try to send out enough instruction that people don't get confused plus the tracks are colored for example the main "B" loop would be blue the "A" loop splits off of that would be Red the bail out easy ways or "C" loops may be Green, the Lost Coast route is a completely different file. Each ride is different and I deal with the tracks to each ride a little differently depending on how much overlap there is between routes. Believe me it takes a lot of work to come up with a ride that's good for an "A" class expert enduro rider and the weekend warrior on a 500 lb bike, but that's part of the fun of it, were all out there to have a good time and at the end of the day these rides bring everyone together with the shared experience of a great days ride.

This screen shot shows the overlapping tracks on the Red Mountain 350

Gps

I looked all over the Ironmandualsport page and can't find any GPS units. Does that mean you are out. If so I guess I will have to follow someone that has one.

Sorry, we're working on setting up a new website and store. Its seems to be screwing up the existing site, we should have the GPS rentals back on the store tonight, here's a link to the Members Store, http://shop.ironmandualsport.com/cat...2?categoryId=2

The boy and I will be there. Still debating on whether we will camp Friday night; we're not sure we want to haul all the stuff around for the rest of the weekend...Riding in, ya know.

Undecided on B vs C. From discussions with Bob I'm comfortable with my skillset for the B route alone, but 2-up.....the idea is, after all, for this to be fun for both of us.

In any case, I guess we're looking for a partner or two. We won't be quick-I get in too much trouble for bringing the kid home broken-but I don't think we'll hold up the typical C loop rider, either. As I said above, the decision to ride B vs C may take a little on-site discussion with the requisite hand-waving and benchracing.... We're on a 990 adventure.

So if we decide not to camp, what time is roll-out?

Thanks!

Steve (and Orion)

Im pretty sure Bob will have a trailer to stow your gear in so shouldnt be any worries about hauling camping gear around.

My g/f and I will be there. We are taking two bikes (KTM 450exc & Yamaha XT225) and looking forward to seeing some new scenery.

Bob, what is the time schedule for saturday morning start? We are driving up from Red Bluff saturday morning.

Motowest, send me an email, bob@ironmandualsport.com so I can send you the GPS tracks. As far as Saturday morning most riders get out between 7-8:00 am. it's about a 1 hr. drive from Red Bluff. I like to keep everyone spread out so dust isn't a problem. I'll be at the staging area by about 5:00 pm on Friday, looks like we'll have a lot of guys camping. Well look forward to seeing you Saturday, it's going to be a great ride!
