Re-enactments... Sounds cool if-n you can demonstrate how to perform a 180 on a GS.

I want to do a a Blue RidgeTrail/southern dualsport loop route.
+1 on the BRT and perhaps notarally, it is on the route! Great suggestion Kyle.

How much time we have will dictate the route.

I'd estimate 2-3 days from Port Royal to Hot Springs (notarally location) on small bikes.

I will be riding my 800 Tiger and we can route this out however we see fit. Chime in and let us know if you are interested. Gonna be some great roads and the right time of year for the cooll weather. Just funning ya! I think it's great that you can get away as much as you do. I am a one man IT show at my dealership and if I take 5 days off I return to chaos. My system are running fine unattended. It's the Help desk portion that's out of control. 14 request on how to set the out of office message. Ugh. 12 request on how to get rid of that pesky zero hour virus. ugh. 10 request on how to reset their exchange account on they Galaxy S4's. etc etc. ugh ugh ugh.

i'm going to Pikes Peak CO sept 15 - 20. maybe I can swing it in October.

What kind of off roading are you expected to do? My GS is a tad heavier than the KLR.
