Clearwater LED auxiliary lights now have a solution that allows them to interface with GSWs with LED headlights. Called the "CAN-opener," when installed this device toggles the Clearwater lights to their maximum power when the high beams on the bike are selected, and also when the horn button is pressed. It is a very simply install... just plug the provided pigtail of the CAN-opener into the stock alarm connection and connect a couple of wires.

NOTE: If you are using the PDM-60, you do not need to connect the red (power) wire from the CAN-opener. Just the white (signal) wire. The red wire can be taped off.

Any problems yet with that set-up with the exhaust exiting right by the bag or does it set off far enough to not be a problem. Got pic of the whole bike?

Here's a quick photo of the entire bike. No issues with the bags so far.

I know a person who has 14K on his GSW, same bags and no issues with the exhaust.

The Screen is the tinted one from BMW. Had to get it after I saw how it looked. One of those cosmetic features of the bike. Not quite practical but looks good.

Thinking about these Wunderlich hand guard extenders:

They’re just out on the market - anyone have them yet? Thoughts? Thanks!

I don't like the BMW plastic handguard solution. I installed SW Motech handguards with LED indicators, extension plastics and the Barkbusters alloy frame, really happy with these and would expect them to save my hands from damage in the event of a hit.

Cost was about AU$325, fitted and wired them myself.

I bought a set and returned them. Good quality, but I thought they looked way to big for the bike.

Added a k-nine companion carrier to the GSW. He did pretty good on a ride through town. Let's see how he does on longer rides.

Having trouble with the trigger for the Fuzbox

Hi. Could use some help. When I tapped the wire for the 7.5 fuse as a trigger for the Fuzbox, I got a dashboard error warning light. My question is, is that the way life is, if I use that as the trigger, or do I have an error somewhere in my wiring?
It seems Sanfu.org didn't have this problem.
I tried the hot wire to the license plate light and also got a error message.
I have the LED headlight so...
Any help appreciated.

Update: I think it was because i blew the 7.5 fuse at some point in the installation. I've since made it work.
