Thumb Tool tube

I've had this tool tube for a couple years now but only now do I have room to install it. It holds my tire repair kit. I've double zip tied it to the Jesse luggage frame.

Don't you think the tire will hit it under full compression travel? I looked at that same place for mine and thought it might interfere.

So here is a Cee-Bailey windscreen and a twisted throttle/Bags-Connection city tank bag.

I've tried two sizes of CalSci screens on my bike. They work, but aren't the prettiest. I've really been tempted to buy the Cee Baileys, especially for summer use, but can't bring myself to drop the coin just to experiment. However, if it starts getting good reviews, I'd probably buy one.

Unfortunately I didn't get it before my last trip. I just did 8 days in CO and did 2700 miles. I've only had the bike 2 weeks and have 3600 miles and am loving it! Put it on last night when I got home and went out and did 120 today - It is definately cleaner air than stock and a bit higher before you get turbulance. It is only a couple of inches higher but I think it will be good. I just wonder how good it will be in the rain. I hit alot of rain storms in CO and was impressed with the stock screen on how it didn't throw water at me. I live in az so it will probably be a bit before I can report back how good it is in the rain.

Still looking for good set of lowered pegs. I can get a good deal on the bmw ones and like how low they are but am concerned they may not be big enough. I had evo3 fastways on my 09 and really liked them. wondering if the pivot pegs offer a low version? anyone know? other options? want bigger and lower.
Thanks,
TBob

If you want big and lower, Black Dog is probably your best option at this time.

yea I saw those but am worried about them sticking out too far. Had the fastways on the 09 adventure and would grind those and they stick out less than the black dogs. I think width is more important than them sticking out a shit ton.

I, too, will read all windscreen reports with interest. Having said that, and having taken a 1700 mile trip on the bike recently, the stock screen isn't bad (for me).

It will be interesting to see how BMW does the screen on the GSA-W when it is released. It may be that there is hardware or plastic that can be adapted to our non-A bikes.

Width is nice, but I like the pegs to be longer so my whole foot is on them. I have Pivot Pegz now and my foot is wider than the peg. It's far better than stock, but I still get the feeling I have to be conscience of foot placement. I'm thinking about going to a set of the blackdogs. Further, they will fold up during hard cornering anyway so they really don't impact clearance.

Occassionally on long rides moving my feet around, I do feel this but it just doesn't bother me.

I seem to touch either the swingarm or the centerstand tang, I think.
