Stella 2013 done... but no medal

As i planned i could make it this year and it was for the first time, loved it... was a big test to my project bike to see that i did the right choice but i also found allot of space for improvement. Easy enough to get to highest possible point around 2800m+ so no medal, as no one could reach the 3009m+ due to the snow was blocking completely the passage.

Next year will try my luck again but better prepared in case there is snow... better knobby tires as i was with an Xmoto and original road tires.

Congratulations to anyone who did it

And for the people at home, I made a video to making you want to go there next year!

http://youtu.be/jPEEJ7WgEcI

Many people says it's ok with standard road bikes, but in my opinion the second part is really hard. Choosing my XR 125 istead of GS ADV was a good choice. I helped one guy stuck with read tire slipping, and another who dropped the bike. Ok, it's an adventure, but better with a light bike and good tires.

Nice video Frab, you've captured it very well there.

Noillek, I think you were at the furthest point when I was up there, I remember seeing a XMoto on dutch plates.

My RR here........

Great videos guys! Thanks for sharing! That's a bummer that snow stopped you before the top, but still amazing!! I can't wait for next year!
