" I told you it was snowy up there "

'Good day and glad you are doing well !

We crossed paths at the gas station at the intersection of Cassiar Hywy and Rt 16 at Kitwanga an bit over a week ago . I reconise your KTM, ADV sticker and aussie accent . My buddy and I were on muddy BMW GS1200s headed south from Anchorage to Seattle . Great trip !!

I noted you had an ADV sticker and was hoping I'd come across you here ...

You said you wanted to wait until all the tourists left , so you could head up to Prudhoe and I'd mentioned you were likely to encounter snow and ice . Check and check .

Well ,you certainly have the right bike ( and positive attitiude ) for such an adventure . Congrats and press on .

I now look forward to doing some vicarious adv riding with you , while I now sit at my computer back at the office , adventure over :-(

Ride safe ...

Todd

Bears are fattening up for winter now, so don't eat in your tent or they'll come nosing around at 2 in the morning looking for grub.

The kind of advice you need instead of 'your chain's too tight' or whatever

Imagine my surprise when I pulled into the Shop (Alaska Leather) this morning to open and spotted another SE in the Parking lot!

Ran into Hodgo this morning. Got him a cable for his heated Vest. Happy Trails on your ride South!

Nearly in Tok Alaska & I must say a big thanyou to ak650 & Fullpower. For the use of the vest. Don't know how I went without one for so long.

Temps not about 6 degC and snow make prolonged riding in those temps hard going.

Thanks bones.for the help & good to see another SE out there.

Ill keep my eyes peeled for ya bygdaddee.

Wow, happy to see that you made it through Tahneta Pass; you are one tough hombre! Glad that you were able to make use of the vest, and happy to help out. Wish that I could have been home when you stopped by. Hope the weather improves for you soon. Will be watching your SPOT tracker.

Safe travels,

Jeff

I must confess I had to soft cock it in the tok motel. Quite a lot of snow outside at the moment and way below zero C outside.

It would have been good to catch up jeff, maybe when you make it over to Australia.
