A bit over 420 miles today, Hodgo must have got below the snow line, and made some serious good time.
Waiting for the next photo upload.
Travel safe, friend.

yukon update 24th sept 2013

All going well, the ice has trashed my fork seals though, got slow leaks either side. Twas the cold that made the plastic toggle switch break.

The severe cold is sure hard on machinery especially in minus temps.

I did get a baptisim by fire with the ice as I binned it right in front of a school bus in Tok. The driver helped me pick the bike up as I couldn't even stand on the stupid stuff with out falling arose of tit.

Least she didn't run me over I guess. I twisted my foot a little as it got hooked up, but its right as rain now though.

I ran into a bloke named David deep on a gs1200 so it was nice to do the track between took and Haines junction with someone.

It was the hardest riding I have ever done. Add flat tyre and no lights at night made it a true adventure.

Great food at ranchero though & $40 for a room, so no below zero camping for me.

Have been told to watch out for mobs of Buffalo the way I'm heading.

I picked up a tablet from the porn shop at anchorage so have lost my upload link.

When DSM8 stops tonking on his tockley we will be back uploading pics again, in the mean time someone who is bored can upload some from my faceache photography.

Seriously your going to bash me for your poor planning and inability to keep track of a single email with an upload link?

Your worthless....

You're lucky that all you picked up at the porn shop.
Most people download at porn shops, but no, you had to upload.

You Aussies are so odd.

Good to see you still on the move.
Continued safe travels.

Update 28th Sept 2013

So made it into Edmonton after 600odd kms. But... and this is the but.. it's still cold. Temps did get above 13 today & yesterday.
The bloke that runs this setup in Homer in Alaska is definitely worth a drop in and buy something from him, even it is just wheel bearings.

Both Dean (Fullpower) and his wife are awesome people to whom I am very grateful for letting me stop for a bit in the bus while I waited for parts.
The bus was pretty damn good too, allowed me to get out of the cold, plus they dug up a heater for me too.

The view from just outside the door of the bus was absolutely breathtaking with a heap of glaciers right in your face.

I am still jagging some good sunset shots while riding too.

Sort of lost where I was up to with the progress due to my tablet having a stuffed screen. Managed to use Rob1313's notebook for a little while to upload some photos.
I was contemplating knocking off some parts from this SE, but thought better of it.

Heres some good shots.
Really cant understand why they call these buffalos when they are bison.

Not sure what these were but probably elk or something similar with the white collar.

Just to prove that I have been to Prudhoe bay.

These trucks seem to lay over easily

A photo with my Denali bag in the Denali Park.

I think I have got my moneys worth out of this tyre but only got 6000kms out of it and the new replacement tyre was the last one in existence in Port Nelson.

A few of these in the Yukon too.

Did I say that the colours up here this time of year are just awesome.

Managed to dig up some more photos.
Dean took me to this place which I probably wouldn't have known that it even existed.

I ran out of piss.

Riding in this cold seemed to be a crazy idea however I am very glad that the heated vest held good to its name.

13 ought to feel downright warm, after all you've endured! :) glad to see the update. Saw your SPOT staying put in Edmonton, and was hoping you didn't have a mechanical.

Our rider headed east at about noon today. He spent a couple nights here, got the oil changed in the bike, a little food into him and he was east bound. Was a pleasure to meet you. Safe travels
