Going to Asheville for the weekend

The girlfriend and I are going to Asheville for the weekend. We're going to be staying around the Leicester area. Can anyone recommend some sweet motorcycle roads that we can check out or some nice scenic loops to ride while we're there?

I've been there before but this is only the second time with the bike. The first time we went to the Dragon but didn't get a chance to explore any other areas.

Thanks in advance guys/girls!

For a nice scenic pace with many of rests and great views, it is hard to beat the Blue Ridge Pkwy on south. You can make it to some of the Spruce and Balsam at high 6000+ feet areas along that section and feel like you are in another world from the heat of the valley bottoms below.

Rt 276 into Brevard is freshly paved and a beautiful is 151 (Devil's Backbone I think) and 215 (Parkway). If it looks twisty on a map, ride it

The lightning bugs were out on Monday morning around that area. I seem to recall that some sections of park near Cades Cove have bugs that glow in synchronicity.

head out 63, go towards max patch, head towards hot springs, eat lunch, back down river , get beer at wedge. that loop works for me usually
I'm so far behind I think I'm in first

Here are a couple loops, they end at the Wedge. Its mostly street, likely about two three hours worth depending on your stops. The section of 197 has several miles of maintained gravel/dirt.,6,7&t=m&z=10

Or you could just wander about in Madison County.
