Cheers and keep riding!

Thanks,

The TW would be a fun bike to ride. Have seen a bunch of china made versions down here. So finding tires would not be impossible.

Well I am finally getting ready to move on from Ecuador, so the posts may come in a bit more often.

I have loved it here. Good, people, ok waves and great dirt riding.

Hard to leave but I am.

Should be interesting boarder crossing though, as my bike has spent to much time here. So the boarder could very well be the end of this ride report.

Keep your fingers crossed for me.

Well I am out of Ecuador and in Peru.
The anticipation of boarder crossing was worrying me, as my bike was well over the 90 days allowed in Ecuador. So I was preparing myself to abandon the bike and start hitching. But as luck would have it, all that was needed was a $20 exchange and both me and the bike where in.

The plan for Peru is, long days in the saddle to reach Chile ASAP!

So there won't be much to talk about, aside from my sore ass and shoulders. But I am sure no one wants to hear me complain, so here are some photos from Peru thus far.

Maybe the next bike I tour on. Developing a real soft spot for these little bikes.

Beauty amongst the rubble.

These old trucks look pretty cool when there not on the wrong side of the road heading straight for you.

Cant miss everything on the way to Chile.

Kicking back.

How can I convince you to spend more time in Peru and at least get up to a few spots in the Andes? You'll kill yourself if you take the PanAm the whole way.
Peru's dirt roads were made for you!

Yeah I may head inland. This Hwy sure is boring. But Funds are not high and I want to spend as much time as possible in Chile before I have to head back to the grind in Australia. Your pics of down there are selling me.
Looks great!

I finally made it to Chile.
Only took four years. One broken heart. One nervous breakdown. Two bicycles, One motorhome and 2 motorbikes. If only I had known before starting.

Since being here, I have really enjoyed the country. Beautiful landscape, very friendly people and waves.

Maybe not the best place for a hammock. But in the desert, you take what you can get.

Even celebrated and replaced my front tire.

Thats about it for now.

think small

I still think it would be pretty rad to do a tour on a really little machine like the Honda Cub or the Symba 110. How bout one of these:
http://www.fxbikes.com/

too expensive, but maybe they can give one to Matt for a Motos-surf demo..
