Well, I'm doing my first decent ride tomorrow. 105 miles or so to Baltimore (one way) to get to an audition, then back afterwards in time for dinner. It'll be fun.

I chose to not ride anywhere today. Most likely won't ride anywhere tomorrow, either.

On the 24th I'll be putting in a 12 hour day to go 680 miles. Then I'll do some riding around in the Post Falls/CdA area of Idaho, maybe take a jaunt over to Montana to check out some places, and probably spend some time enjoying Spokane and some areas North of there.

After a week of such torture, it'll be back home and back to the usual grind of commuting. At least my commute is all country roads.

Last night I rode the v-strom I bought from smitkev2 in Auburn, Alabama to my home in Palm Coast, Fl. A 417 mile drive there in the car with my wife, then she drove home and I rode the bike 417 miles. This was her idea. She is a trooper. Got home at midnight. The last two hours were in the rain on the interstate. Enjoyed every minute of it. That was my ride yesterday. Today the only riding I did was fire up the guzzi and run it around the neighborhood. Whenever I ride the guzzi people in the neighborhood wave, especially kids. Whenever I ride anything else nobody looks, waves, nothing.

Rode 215 miles to get a Burger and hang out on the porch of the recently opened Two Wheels of Suches.

The weather and roads were great but my butt was sore because I was riding my XT350

Where did you choose to ride today, that means you've turned into a Rider?

Sadly I had to work today... But Tomorrow I will be doing a little tour of the Cascades taking the Looong way to Portland from Eugene.

Yesterday I rode from the east coast to the west coast and back. I'm talkin about Florida here. 348 miles. Florida is not very wide is it? I left my house at 640am and rode to Flagler to meet up with a couple of riding buddies. We rode to the park at the end of Fort Island trail, near Crystal River, then Ozello trail, then headed back to Flagler beach. Had a great ride. Today my wife and I will get on the strom and ride to the theatre, then ride down Boardman and Highbridge roads. That's it for today. I don't ride much on the weekends- too much traffic.

My wife and I rode the Mountain Loop Highway today from our house to Darrington, then up FS-2060 until it got so overgrown and rocky that you would be hard pressed to call it a road. 162.7 miles round trip, 42 of that on dirt and gravel.

I rode to the hospital!

Last year on a spring ride i failed to make a corner due to my inexperience (i had only been riding for about 10 months). The corner failure resulted in my falling down and another broken piece of plastic trim! I hurt my shoulder but pushed though until this april wheni decided that pushing through the pain for a whole year mit not be a good thing anymore. Long story short, my ride today was to the hospital to get a MRI to find out what in fact is damaged. I anticipate that the results will indicate that my arm needs to be cut open to repair a torn tendon.

Asheville, NC to Alexandria, VA. 480 miles of 40, 29, and 66. Not glamorous, but kind of fun.

100 miles south of home (inspecting a truck for a friend). Headed down a gravel road I had found, and the monsoon began... Loved every minute of it!

Ended the trip in sun light, and great views of the massive flooding in this area.
