I will not be there next week 7/6/13 due to family activity, so bring your maps or GPS's if you don't know the roads.

All details of meet are on POST #1.

Perhaps a ride through the little dragon.
Good call.
Let us know how it went?

Saturday was not so good for leaning into the twisties until way later in the day, because the best roads were soaking sopping wet, with the humidity too high to allow for evaporation.

Was it wet down in Hurricane Creek today?

Sunday Ride Notes

Went up to H/C from Trust store, lost a rider, I imagine he turned around, but didn't let us know. From the top at meadow fork and max patch the grade work was obvious. It was a little greasy in a few spots. Guy from S.C. rode his wee on street tires the whole thing. Its really not as technical as it was prior to the grading. Kind of sad.

We stopped by buzzards roost just for a look see and went back down.

From there over to 32 and worked on the edges of the tires about 8 miles each way down and back. Very little traffic and some nice turns. Roads were mostly dry, allowing for some knobby edge turns.

From there we came back into NC. We split up as I was headed back towards 209 and hot springs via 148 at exit 7, meadow fork, and 209. He was headed back towards S.C. About a 5 hour ride, 4 of it moving.

No me tomorrow

Still babysitting some pork shoulder on the grill. Not likely to make a 1030 ride. Although I will make my way out that way at some point tomorrow if the weather clears.

There is a thought. Sharing my 17 lbs of pork? Hmmmn.

I did have a nice ride today with gratefulgal. I didn't see anyone at the trust store about 130pm.

I was surprised that there was no rain. Maybe another ride tomorrow? Anyone?

# yes, bring your friends.

# yes, you can post it elsewhere.
