yeah, I used a similar technique--wasn't pretty by any means, but got the job done.

Good time. Klr was great on the easy route. Chain fell off on the hill just past the fire station on the way back from the triangle store but was able to get it back on and took harrison road back to 49 and slabbed it back to bass lake.

I will be back at my uncles place at at bass lake the 25th through the 31st if anybody can make it up to ride let me know. Ill be solo in a five bedroom so there is crash space available if needed. I will be on the klr again so i will probably do some long 50/50 rides (maybe edison/balloon dome overlook/kieser pass area) but i would also love to hit up some semi technical stuff. Ideally some not to rocky singletrack (whiskey falls/ridge) but i how that goes.
