we are catching the 9:05 ferry from west seattle to southworth and should hit Tahuya at 10:00 -10:15 a.m. and will probably enter at the Mission creek staging area. We will both be riding over so look for a KLX250 and WR250.

Hey Heavy J, I see that you ride cyclocross. Going to be racing this season? i was just checking out the schedules and there are three series now? I'm trying to get ready for September but not sure which is the favorite series. If you want to go jump some barriers, let me know.

We should do it again sometime.

Cheers

heading over Monday

I'm going to be heading over Monday, but I'll be testing out my new to me Honda EZ90 Cub. So if you see some fool on a dirt scooter tomorrow flag me down and say hello.

Be sure to provide a EZ Cub RR!!

I was at Tahuya yesterday, and the riding was great. Typical wet area's due to recent rains, but it just adds to the fun.

perfect conditions

The new scoot is more capable that you'd think. The left hand rear brake and automatic transmission don't suck. You've got to pick your line because of the limitations of the small wheels (12"front 10" rear) and soft suspension. But hay quads have small wheels too so as long as I stuck to the ATV trails it was good times.

Plowing threw mud and water was a blast. I can tell you the rear wheel kinda sits out past the rear bodywork. The back of my helmet and jersey are caked in mud :)

Man I wish I could go. It should be a good day. I need to finish off my roofing project from hell. Had to tear off 4 layers which was almost as much of a workout as trying to follow you guys on the trail .
