Back to real time, I've driven by this piece countless times, just south of Belgooly on the route to Kinsale. Usually cars parked in front, the road was clear let's go,....no pics with the usual excuses. So here is my fav Irish art, and I am clueless why

I think they close down a mile or so of a paved road and have time trials, going to check it out

At trail's end

I think it's time to wrap this up, the trusty Alp is sold, I've got to clean it up, park it in Martin's barn and wish the next pesky American a great ride. Packing up the way too much stuff for the flights back to the little house on the prairie. A big thank you and smile to all the wonderful folks I've met, the kind comments I've received here and for making my journey richer via this RR on Advrider. I hope it encourages ya'll to get out there and explore, cause if I can do it....

And let's not forget all those who made my morning cafe lattes ummmm good, Cheerz, Stephen

rockydog, thanks so much for this report! A great one! Hugely entertaining and informative too! I looked forward to reading each new episode. Sorry to see it coming to an end, but hopeful that you will share your next adventures with us! Perhaps whoever buys your trusty Alp (another American?) will be inspired to try and follow your example (those are some large tire tracks to fill, though!)? All the best, and thanks again!

Glad you enjoyed your trip to our side of the pond, my parents and I enjoyed meeting you, shame you couldn't make it to the IOM to meet the wife and kids. Be careful riding on the 'wrong' side of the road when you get back home.
