625 LC4 - Noise coming from transmission.

This is my second 625 SMC - My first one had a very similar issue. It ended when the transmission (and tire) locked up, putting a crack in the transmission case. I'm hoping to prevent that with my current bike.

If I coast down in neutral, at about 10-20 mph, shut the motor off - i'll hear (and feel with my right foot), a clicking noise with a 1-2 second interval. It seems to be coming from the transmission area.

Has anyone every experienced this before?

That's just the sound of awesome!....Ha ha.

I would say it could be a gear going south if it happens in one gear, happens to 3rd gear twice on my xr200
