HELP I'm in Ulan Ude, Russia-need KLR crank

My engine was making some noise, so I had a bike club mechanic look at it.Engine is apart now with a bad lower rod bearing. He says I need to find a used crank and have it shipped here. Anyone have thoughts on what to do.He thinks it will take 2 weeks to have it shipped here.

Damn Doug

Don't know where to start on this end, surely something can be sorted from Russia somewhere or at least Europe. Lucky you are not in Mongolia.

Might ought to post on the HUBB as well, seems to be more info on that side of the world over there.

Goodluck man.

Sorry to hear about the crank mate, just did a quick search through e-bay uk and came up with this,
http://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/Kawasaki-K...item3a77776531
this is for a c,(sorry ride a katy m myself so i'm not to sure of year markers) but the same guy also had one for an A, both are from split bikes, they're both pretty cheap,( 50 +60 respectively), if you go on the link and then when on the site look at his OTHER items the A models crank should pop up, hopefully someone from the inmate inclosure can help, get well soon KLR
