They are gone... Your best bet is to find a used c2 for parts. I have seen a couple of liner pieces but thats it. Visors can still be had on ebay but the small parts are not to be found. I was talking to the schuberth reps at a rally, they had their van with tools and everything.....but zilch for the c2 ....they said they dont make parts and no longer service them

I guess that I was unclear in my original post ... here is more to the story ... NO, Schuberth (USA) North America WILL NOT help. Here is their email response to me last week ...

"supporting the continued use of old helmets is not in your, or our best interest. The fact that we don’t have parts any more is again, specifically because the helmets might not offer the highest level of protection, and should be retired from use."

I had some kidney surgeries after acquiring the helmet and didn't ride much for several years. So, the helmet was put back into the bag & box. Subsequently healed up now and I have a virtually new helmet that has been problematic with the retaining disc since the day it left the dealer ... and SNA has not helped even once. I like the helmet and its features and also enjoyed the several BMW system helmets (now on display at the dealership) which it replaced. It is hard to have to replace this relatively expensive helmet with a new one due to a single defective face shield part - as my dealer said, the retaining disc should not come off even in a crash / accident...it is a design error that the Schuberth folks were well aware of almost from the onset.

The Schuberth demo van was to be here locally last week, but without notice, they didn't show up. A huge thank you to the folks here on ADVrider who have graciously offered to assist in helping solve this problem for me.

Sorry about the problems,

I had thought Schuberth had straighten up some of their issues..

I purchased my C2 twenty minutes before they pulled out of North America last time. I needed some parts for mine and it seemed that I was getting the gee that's too bad from everyone

Then Schuberth showed up at the Beemer rally two years ago. ( getting back into the market ) and they went over backwards to make me a happy guy.

Even bought a C3 last year, was thinking of the the C3pro for this year ...... Maybe I should thing longer.

I'll look and see if I still have the Schuberth reps card, he was sure all fired up about restoring the company reputation in NA ... I'll send him a link to the forum

Different than my experience

I brought a C2 back with me to VA when I moved back from Germany. I was on the interstate and a SUV kicked up a branch that hit me right in the visor. The clip you are missing must have popped off on the one side because the visor was flapping in the wind on that side. I removed the rest of the visor, threw it in the side case and headed the rest of the way home.

I fired off an email to a Schuberth NA not expecting any help. I got a quick response asking for my mailing address and they sent me two of the clips gratis along with a recommendation that the helmet was beyond recomended life expectancy and I should replace it. I was impressed and that support pretty much settled what the next helmet was going to be.

The 5 years of use was coming up in Nov so I had been putting some cash aside for a C3 Pro when I saw they had the C3s on sale. I had wanted one of the white ones with the world outline and couldn't beat the price so I pulled the trigger. The C2 was really showing its age on the inside.

I have a brand new in the packaging visor with the a pinlock I will give you a good deal on if you need one of those. I brought 2 back with my household goods since they were not selling Schuberths in the US when I moved back.

Discs received; THANK YOU !

THANK YOU, G. Hanson. My Schuberth C2 is back in service. Hopefully the clear shield will last another few years as well.

South Sound BMW in Fife, WA has been a huge help as well - now both my wife's as well as my helmets are in tip top shape!

Schuberth C2 Cover Disc Visor

I know this thread is 7 months old, but does anyone have one of these discs? Mine popped off when I raised the visor. Didn't realized I lost a part.

I got the same answer from Schuberth and most of the dealers around.

Thanks

Bringing this up again...

Have a C2.. Sat on shelf for years, lost my liner somewhere after washing...
Need a replacement, called shuberth..same as above, no support, helmet to old for my own safety...really...if it has a life expectancy even when unused maybe you should state that as I might not have paid the $$$$$$ loads of cash to have it die before it's time...seriously.. Helmet is in perfect shape and barely used.
Won't buy another one for the price with this experience..

Anyway. Anybody got a parts helmet and would spare the liners?
Good Karma will be your!
