You would prety much fit in if dressed that way.

Bring it...

Gonna miss it this year, and won't be able to see Roy rocking out on the ukulele or consume any of the tasty adult beverages :(

Sent magically!

Well, time is closing down on this rally.. What's neat is that it's not only a great club rally, it's become a bit of a nice ADV gathering over the years, too.. Nobody gives two shits about what you ride or how far, but sitting around the campfire, enjoying a beer, and just having a relaxing good time is what it's all about!!

I actually feel sad every year when I leave the rally grounds, and I only live 80 miles from it and ride past it at least a half dozen times a summer, or more.. It's a great event, no matter what the weather. The WMGR club has this baby down, and even when faced with issues they come through with flying colors!!!

A few years back the caterer screwed up what weekend he was supposed to be there.. The club found food and nobody went away with an empty belly.. Many ate a year's quota of brats (ok, I did) and the club felt bad about what happened, yet NOTHING bad happened!! We overcame and made do, with smiles..

Last year some asshole ripped off the club's trailer, leaving them without beer cups.. I and others just ran into Platteville and hit the local Walmart and brought back insulated cups.. Hell, I'm still using mine.. Other than OU812, everyone was covered.. ( I still feel bad that Steve didn't get one)

Anyway, if you've never been to a bike club's rally, it's a great time to try one and get a taste for just relaxation with a bunch of folks who like the same thing as you.. Nobody cares if you're on a Honda, Guzzi, BMW, Kymco, or anything else.. Just show up and have fun!! Great riding in the area, great food, and most important, great PEOPLE!!!

Even the Guzzi Riders from Nebraska are fun to hang around with.. And you all know what those people are like..
cough cough zoid cough cough..

Rally? Laid back, normal fun with beer, great riding, etc..

Me.. I'm a touch superstitious and hope for a weekend like the one expected this weekend.. 70's during the day, 50's at night, and dry..

Hoping for the same.. Have seen all ends of the spectrum that weekend, from cold to hot and everything in between. And I still go back every year.

I was attempting to make a funny about touching wood, but never mind.

I hope you are right about the weather - that would be superb.

Wow!! Cheap beer through the nose hurts. The Wisconsin Guzzi rally is always one of the highlights of my summer. See you all by the fence in about a week.
