Just to the left of the building there will be a couple big tents set up for registration and tables.

The field where the X is at is where we typically camp.. Twin Headlight Ernie will be set up with his Concourse and trailer of motorcycle goodies.. Just ask him were the ADV guys are located.. Just straight back by the gate and corner.

This guy...

This is the orange gate.. Everyone's left or right of this driveway..

This is taken from the gate area, towards the shower house, and most important, the beer wagon!!

Shower house and tents..

Same view, different year, early on Friday.. Before tents filled in.

Thanks!

That looks like a very nice set up but be warned if you hear a frieght train at 4am relax it's just me. [those tents look a little too close if you're a light sleeper]

I'll find it... I met Ernie a few times can't miss his bikes!

Thanks again for all the help

No problem.. And it's usually only around 300 people.. Not hard to find anyone.. A lot of the club members camp down in the woods and some camp down by the lake, and others camp along the field to the north.

And walking up to the storage area to take a leak at 4am is actually funny as hell.. The snoring symphony is something you don't hear every day..

It all makes sense now!

Just received a high priority assignment that should keep me busy through Thursday, leaving Friday morning for last minute packing and tinkering.

How much tinkering will influence my ETA.

If somebody wants to tinker...
I have my THE kickstand plate rattling around in my tail bag, could use some assistance installing it.

Yeah, I'm mechanically uninclined.

What's it going on?? Be glad to help..

Evil Ernie not only delivered the new skid plates for my GS a couple years ago, but then helped me install them..

Needs to go on the GS. I'm always willing to pass/hold tools in order to learn something. Also looking forward to hearing what Ernie's daughter is up to.

He should be up to date.. I think he said she's either bar tending or waitressing, and he was going to go see her after leaving Lorem Ipsum..

What year GS??? I've thought about one of the pads, but my 05' is different than other GS's, or so I've been told..

I'm installing a Powerlet and wiring my GPS tomorrow night.. Just found instructions for removing the Tupperware on my scooter.. They tuck everything away on that thing..

It's an early '06

Still had the old style fuel sensor, had to pay outta pocket when it failed Later model failures are warrantied. No surprise I rode without a fuel gauge for almost 2 years.

Well, the only issue I see is that the side stand needs to be drilled for the two mounting screws... Not a problem if there's a drill and bits available..

Have a great and safe day of riding!!

Was informed on the Guzzi forum that there's even more "special selections" of beer this year.. Sounds like the ever expanding variations of MicroBrews has expanded again..

Got skeered of the amount of tyre tread I had left last night, so new tyres going on. Rear done, front tonight - no probs.

Still ON for tomorrow.

Lots of micro brews on hand? Oh dear. How sad.

Last minute chores included mowing the lawn for the first time in 3 weeks. Needs it badly. Deck caught one of the blades and spindled into a fiery heap.

Guess that will wait until Sunday.

Tomorrow, I'll wire aux power for the GPS and vest. I hope.
