Rugby League World Cup

The USA beat Wales, making them 2-0 in the World Cup.

Against the expectations of, well, everyone.

Is this getting any dap in the USA?

The Scotland-USA game is being held about 10 miles from me; I'm tempted to get a ticket. If the Tomahawks win, they are in the World Cup quarter-finals

A "world" championship that is held OUTSIDE the USA? Really? Are you sure it's true? Next you'll tell me it involves countries from around the world? Or that most of them are/were Commonwealth countries...

I tip Oz V. NZ final with OZ winning.

About as much dap as men's field hockey or netball would get. Union has the USA market stitched up as far as what is played and watched here. League has not done themselves any favors by letting Lowe be it's ambassador. ..seems to rub a lot of folks the wrong way.

He's back in Sydney next year.
The NRL seemed keen to keep him.
Prehaps having a RWC winning player is the closest Aussie League or Union is going to get to having a trophy of thier own...
