Eek 950 SAS/EPC blanking plates carbonised?

Picture says it all.

Bikes done 60 000 km with these on. Bolts were torqued to 15nm, and there's no sign of leak in the seal itself....but BOY is there a lot of carbon there. The reed valves in particular - the rear pot is in the front of the photo and as you can see it's caked on pretty thick.

Is this normal?

It's the exhaust side of the valves so I would imagine after 60,000kms there should be some build up, lol! I think that should be pretty normal tbh... How does the bike run? Good? If so, clean them up to satisfy any OCD issues and slap them back on, ;)
