Thanks for this great report. Nice photography skills. I was wondering which camera you were using, and the lenses.

Keep on Traveling

Thanks!

I was using a Nokia Lumia 920 Smartphone for some, and the more creative ones I was using the Olympus OM-D body with Panasonic Lumix 12-35mm f/2.8 Lens. No post production was done on the photos as I was doing a live RR. Lots of camera adjustments made to get the images.
I sold all my Canon DSLR gear when I got a hold of this relatively small camera system. Both camera body and lens are water resistant too, which worked really well for this trip.

Stubby Tire tools. Made of plastic so it doesn't damage the rims. Works great.

Yeah....they worked good till today .....when over at RsZk's place.....I was mounting up a new set of tires (Heidenau K60 Scout) for the KLR...and I snapped one doing the front tire. They are great as they don't scratch your rims but I took a little too much tire to try and fold over the rim ......and "snap" !!!!
Looks like I am buying him a new one !!!

...I did mention a few times not to force it...LOL
It's just a tool, it is easily replaceable. If a tire isn't cooperating, then it's not the tire, its the technique!
