Also, that's amazing how big that dual spot group ride was. I wish it was that popular in my area! Usually 4-5 of us, if that!
Yea this was an annual meet. Large numbers here.

I agree with Dale; too many Tenere pics! The KLR isn't getting enough media time!
So much wish I could have gone with you. Have a great time and work is waiting for you...G./KLR/RN
Thanks for following along Greg.!!

On our ride to away from Steward BC/Hyder Alaska we stopped again at Bear Glacier for some quick photos. This place does not cease to amaze.

So from Hyder Alaska to Prince George we travelled 700km. I got it in my head to go from Prince George all the way back home!
900km!! 12 hours

This may not be much to some, but to me, it was the single longest ride I have done. The Yamaha has been likened to be close to a Honda Goldwing in comfort. While I have never ridden a Wing, this thing is unbelievably comfortable for long distances and also capable of going on some gnarly roads on and off the beaten path.

Of course on the way home we encountered the usual rain for 2 hours from Prince George.
The weather then really turned on us at Edson, with some locals calling for 100km/h winds, hail rain...blah blah blah. We took off with Bullseye's rear tire showing its time for a change as it was starting to crack at the lugs. Went to a local Yamaha dealership for the mechanics to have a look, but they said it was still safe to travel home. The clouds then converged from the East, North and West, leaving only the South available for riding. Luckily we were headed South.

Trip is over. Going over the photos and tons of video coverage. I hope to compile a Youtube video of some of the best video and photo clips.

We travelled 4650km in 10 days, around 32 hours in the rain.

Thanks all for coming for the ride with Bullseye and I. It was definitely a dream ride for both of us "Come Hell or High Water".

I too enjoy this trip. And Rszk is right ....those glaciers are "a must see to believe" !!! Enjoyed the whole trip EXCEPT the rain !!!!! Cool to see sooo many places....meet such nice people.... see such beautiful country...all with a good friend !!! Still trying to process EVERYTHING I saw and done !!!!
Hopefully Rszk will find some decent photos on my camera after he goes thru it !!! The last two days were a true "iron butt" for me. A little sore after all the miles we did !!! (Wimp, I know !! LOL)
Can't wait to do it all again .......after some new tires and an oil change !!

Post ride leftovers

I thought I'd post some post ride photos and videos that didn't make it due to time restraints and crappy internet while on the road.

This youtube video shows some of the flexibility of the mount I used for the Drift HD Ghost camera while riding.
