Dual Rotors on my 950SE

I'm exploring the idea of a twin brake rotor set up on my 950SE. I'm thinking 950ADV forks with twin calipers would be ideal. Has anyone ever done this?

Unknown if anyone has done the conversion to add the right side brake to the SE.

The parts list will include more than just the fork bottom/mount for the caliper... the master cylinder is different as well...

It is possible to remove the lower from the slider and thread on a different unit. The challenge is that the lower should come from a later model that has similar bolt mounts as the SE (3 radially located bolts).

It may be easier to find a "S" fork set from a ADV and go from there.

I've thought about this too

The more I looked into it, the more I found it might be easier to swap the front end from an adventure or adventure S.

For me, I need a little more brake on the street, but not in the dirt. I concluded that going to a 320mm rotor and upgraded brake might do it. I haven't made the switch yet.

Going to the 320mm rotor is easier and probably cheaper as well.
