Extended Mena weather forecast is looking excellent... 76/52 for Saturday makes for great camping.

Where are you finding weather forecasts for a month out?

Accu-Weather click on month... Changes every few days.

The concession trailer will again be set up next to the campsite so food and drinks will be available in addition to meals provided by the rally... Also Blue Bell ice cream is available at the train station. The Park Ranger Station at the entrance has a supply of items if you forget something at home.....

Slow thread, not much interest on this forum. Getting closer, can't wait for a little cooler weather. Got a new tent looking forward to trying out.

If any of y'all are planning to head north of Mena, towards, Eureka Springs, Fayetteville, Jasper, etc... Be prepared to deal with volumes of motorcycle traffic.

One of the top 5 US motorcycle rallies will be underway about 150 miles north of Mena.

Bikes, Blues and BBQ Billed as the “Largest U.S. Charity Rally”, BBB, as it has been dubbed, entices approximately 400,000 motorcycle enthusiasts to Fayetteville, Arkansas during the last weekend of September.
Also, here is a gpx track and some ride reports from a dual sport group who camped and rode the Mena area, last July.
