i guess there will be some damage from the impact and operation but the collar bone itself will be plated very well.

Bloody AWESOME Moto3 race! If that's the junior talent coming to us, bring it ON!

Salom is a master race tactition, and as much as its been castrated, Assen is still a fabulous race circuit. Brilliant!

Brilliant Moto3 and 2 races! Lets hope GP delivers the same. I don't think I took a breath during the last lap of Moto2.

Lorenzo

It's a shame that Lorenzo has to race with a broken collarbone to get any press coverage. Race wins are not front page news I suppose. For those of you who have friends that are Nascar fans and suggest that the drivers are athletes this might be a great story to share. No doubt Lorenzo is a hard ass and imagine how demoralizing it will be for the Ducatis when he comes flying past ! Should be a great race !

Lorenzo didn't even qualify and he's already ahead of the Ducati's . Also he's not racing for press coverage as much as he's racing for critical championship points.

I understand why he's racing, my point is someone always steals his thunder even when he wins, e.g. Qatar he clears off and the story is "The Doctor is back" etc. I just find irony in the fact that this is the most coverage he has received all season.

In 2000 at Assen Capirossi broke his left hand during warm up and raced anyway (it took Dr Costa's advice to convince the Dutch medical commission). He finished third, then fainted after the race.

I wish Lorenzo the best of luck, but somehow, I think he already won...

And let's not forget that also MM has a pair of fresh broken bones!

Well shut my mouth. Lorenzo, god? Hard case for sure, and a memorable performance.

Crutchlow -- was really hoping he'd hold it together the last couple of laps to make a move on Marquez. At least he kept the position.

Pedrosa with 2 points on the guy with a broken collarbone and behind his rookie teammate -- ouch.
