Are you planning on catching any of the Dakar while you are down there?

Congrats on the completion of an EPIC adventure. I , too have stood by that sign in TDF but I cheated, took a boat to Ushiaia and then on to Antartica. Great stuff. The memories will last a lifetime. You are a inspiration to all on this site.

All I can is WOW!! What a intense feeling of accomplishment U must have felt. I hope your minor injuries are all healed up and I thoroughly enjoyed your great story telling skills as well as your epic pictures.

To all

WOW, checked ADV this morning and can't believe the amount of responses.

For everyone following.

I can't thank you enough for all the encouragement and support that you have given me during this trip, there were many times when this was needed. Some day's after a gruelling ride when things just kept getting worse I would try my hardest to keep my spirits high by thinking; this day too will end and get better; and then I would log back in to ADVrider where I could feel your support and this really helps in more ways than you can imagine.

What a great community to belong to, and I encourage you to follow the other riders that are still out there and are doing what they like (adventure riding), but also face diversity at times that can bring challenges that they did not foresee or have a brake down in some remote crazy place, your support and help will be felt by them as it did for me.

Will make my way to Buenos Aires over the next couple of days and I will keep you informed on my progress, also working on a summery of things like bike and gear so stay tuned for that.

Did meet with Wei last night and we had a great dinner and a beer together, while sharing some of our crazy rides we have done. He will be heading out to get his girlfriend and then take her on a tour that he had planned including a boat trip to Antarctica and then come back to Ushuaia for his finish. I wish you the best of luck my friend, take care and may the bike gods be in your favour.

Having a nice relax day in Ushuaia today and will head out to Rio Grande tomorrow.

Awesome trip and ride report! Congratulations on fulfilling your goal of reaching Tierra Del Fuego. I look forward to following along the rest of your trip. I've only been riding for a year so far, reading reports like yours encourages me to set my sights high for future adventure riding. God Bless and be safe as you make your way back north to your home and family.
