Crossing from Panama to Colombia

There are a couple of options; you can fly your bike from Panama City to Bogota or take 1 of the sailboats from Porvenir to Cartegena. We decided on using the "Stahlratte", built in the early 1900's and in need of an overhaul. Only 3 cylinders of the 4 were working at the time of our crossing. The journey had a bit of everything. The San Blas islands are poster beautiful. 3 days aboard ship but the actual crossing is only 30 hours. If you are prone to seasickness I would recommend flying as 80% of the people aboard went through 30 hours of agony.
