Question Break light "false" failure indicator

3-4 weeks ago I had the yellow triangle with the bulb icon appear on my '05 GS instrument panel. So I went to replace the bulb but it was stiff and took some effort to remove. When I got it out, the bulb looked OK so I put it back in and the triangle/icon went away. OK, phantom problem maybe?
Then on recent 2 week trip it happened again. Rode that way for 4 days before I finally removed bulb and replaced it. The old bulb did not look 'broken' but what the heck. But then 2 or maybe 3 days later while still on the ride it happens again (and is that way now). So something is amiss.
BTW, I had a 12K service done at the dealer just before the 2 week trip; supposedly no faults were present at that time.
Do folks have suggestions as to what troubleshooting I can do?
I do have the Skene P3 lights installed (been there for 5+ years).
My bike: Yellow '05 1200GS - on the Spotwalla ADV location page as CJ3.
My solo trips: 2014 Natl Park triangle, SF-Colorado-SF 2011 and 2013, SF-LA loop, Pinnacles and Carmel Valley loop

Make sure bulb socket contacts are free of corrosion and try a new bulb. It won't be the first time what seems a perfectly okay bulb is causing the fault.

Same problem on my F800S

The F800S runs a similar warning system and I've had the issue a couple of times. The bulb seems to vibrate loose and loses contact. Once it happens, the warning /_\ comes on and does not go out until I reset the perfectly good bulb. I've tried two different brand replacements (that I had in the shed), but they are either two tight to fit the holder, or have the same looseness that the original has. Thinking of switching to an LED replacement that gets ride of the very flexible (loose) rear brake/tail light issues.
And so ends my 'Adventure' era (SOLD)

05? Likely when they serviced the brakes (not breaks) they didn't get the fluid in the reservoir under the tank completely full!
