Does that include the BMW panniers or just the loaded bike?

Also, if anyone comes across one... I'd love to get my hands or at least eyes on a manual for the new bike ASAP.

just the bike - would you expect any less?

if it's not permanently bolted to the bike when it's in the crate, it aint included in the price.

it'll be the same as the lite model - that guide is common as a pdf if you google it.

I will assume when you say 'light' model you are referring to the standard GS and yes... I do have that manual.

Just to be 'that guy', that's not *strictly* accurate... The engine guard, windscreen, battery cover and hand guards (on certain packages) are bubble wrapped separately from the bike

Question Does the new GSA have an aluminum fuel tank?

I've read that the new bike's got a 7.9 aluminum fuel tank.....at Long Beach I couldn't really get close enough to check for myself and the BMW guys at the show swore it was plastic....was the BMW pdf info wrong?

BMW doesn't usually highlight something if they aren't trying to make a point. The Aluminum Tank would be a considerable weight savings over the same capacity Plastic Tank -- which may be why BMW changed material specs. Aluminum would also have a higher recycle value than the Plastic Tank and BMW get's Eco-points for that in the EU.

On the other hand, maybe the guys at the Show have disassembled a GSA and have the straight scoop.
