Yeah, it makes ya think about how the rest will pan out when you can't get out of town without busting out the tools!

Casa Diablo is a cool little cut through road.

Up and Over

We twist, turn, drop and climb

Donnell Vista

Parted ways with DAAANG in Sonora with a belly full of subway

I planned to take Tioga Pass back up and over

I love the views of Tioga Pass, but sometimes it looks like this...too often it looked like this

When it did open up, it was beautiful

Been going almost non-stop since this morning

Began to head south on 395

Took the June Lake Loop

and found what I was looking for

From the dirt road I took a two track trail

It brought me above Grant Lake with views of Mono Lake

Marked it on GyPSy

This may be the place to camp tonight

This is one of the best short-trip write-ups I've seen in ages. Your photos are so awesome and the commentary is great

I'm in Looking forward to hearing more

It is real nice up there, plenty of little pull off campspots, Parker creek was great for washing up some and the views are pretty spectacular

I still have the k7 Wee, have kept it for street riding and the wife may start riding it We will see about that Off Road the Wee is far out matched by the GS, the Wee just doesn't have the suspension or ground clearance and in the sand it is a death machine. I have done plenty of dirt and gravel on the Wee prior to getting the GS, it will do it but now that I have the GS I don't bother getting the Wee dirty. It is not lighter either. I am still on the fence about selling her...I will cry the day she goes.
